Gewässer

Der Pfäffikersee liegt im Zürcher Oberland,  er hat eine Länge von 2,5 und eine mittlere Breite von 1,3 Kilometern. Der See ist ein 3,3 km² gross mit einem Einzugsgebiet von 40 km². Der Auslauf des Sees ist der Ustermer Aa bzw. der Aabach, er fliesst in den Greifensee.

Mit seinem Schilfgürtel ist er ein beliebtes Natur- und Erholungsgebiet im Kanton Zürich. Der Wanderweg um den See misst ca. 9 Kilometer.

With its reed belt, it is a popular natural and recreational area in the canton of Zurich. The hiking trail around the lake measures about 9 kilometers.
